Vaginal rejuvenation corrects vaginal relaxation, tightening the vaginal to enhance the patient’s sexual gratification.
This is achieved by reducing the external diameter of the vagina and tightening the internal muscles to a patient’s specifications, thereby increasing the friction experienced during intercourse.
How does laser vaginal rejuvenation works ?
The laser itself provides one of the most advanced vaginal photorejuvenation techniques, which can relieve the most troublesome symptoms associated with vaginal atrophy, including vaginal dryness and painful intercourse. Menopause is often associated with an assumed decline in sexuality and libido. Now, however, as post-menopausal life expectancies are exceeding 30+ years, a mature woman’s sexual well-being and vaginal health are important issues. Not all women experience menopause and perimenopause in the same way. For some, hormone replacement therapy may not be the best option, as there are potentially dangerous side effects. Now, we have an alternative treatment for vaginal revitalization that can help millions of women who are suffering silently with minimal options.
When laser vaginal rejuvenation is necessary ?
As time passes, due to childbirth and aging, vaginal muscles relax and lose their tone, strength and control, causing both internal and external complications to increase. This means that women may experience decreased friction or stimulation during intercourse, leading to a reduction in sexual gratification.
Many women seek treatment because they wish to improve sexual gratification for both themselves and their partners.
They also wish to prevent unpleasant vaginal discharge and urinary incontinence. The LVR procedure aims to rejuvenate the vagina so that women can achieve the best sexual experience possible and regain their self-confidence and femininity.
The procedure allows for vaginal wall tightening, collagen remodeling, thicker and more resilient vaginal walls, whitening of the labia. It causes no bleeding either during or after the operation. There is no need for anaesthesia, and the patient may resume normal daily life directly after the procedure.
How does the procedure work ?
No anaesthesia is needed. The treatment is performed using a fractional CO2 ablation laser SmaXel, which is equipped with a special LVR head for vaginal operations. The device is compliant with the strictest FDA certification, which evidences its safety. During the procedure, a urologist inserts a unique head equipped with a laser into the vagina. They then rotate the head inside the vagina centimetre by centimetre and, using the laser, gradually treat the vagina from the deepest point outwards (from the cervix to the vaginal opening). The procedure is painless and lasts between 15 and 20 minutes.
We recommend that women undergo a preventative cytological examination with a gynaecologist before the procedure. Indeed, the LVR procedure should not be undertaken by women with an oncological disorder.
